A 'critter catcher' with a net and a surprisingly deadly wooden sword is surely in want of a St Trinians / warped Enid Blyton sheen. Which handily works with a polo neck. See the other characters here.

Puffy clothes can still be a polo neck. Geanne ended up with a remarkably tricky 'fancy finishing pose' - foreshortening and upside down features. The hair didn't quite work, but pretty happy with the end result. See the other characters here.
