With some fixed boards now to hand for playing on, I wanted to accumulate some moveable scatter terrain which could be used to freshen up the game layouts and provide some added tactical interest.
Crates are ubiquitous in both fantasy and sci fi games so were the first on the production line. Most tutorials and suggestions I found online provided excellent suggestions for 28mm miniatures, but the results would dwarf my little 15mm spacefarers. So I needed to make my own, and preferably durable ones too that could be flung into a bag when travelling.
Very simple to put together – 10mm wooden cubes with sliced 7mm cable ties stuck on.
